PB Banana Smoothie Bowl

If you have never eaten peanut butter and banana together you are seriously missing out. It’s one of those weird but wonderful combinations that tastes amazing and is full of good fats and proteins. This smoothie bowl is inspired by this yummy combo.

 

Recipe:

1 large frozen banana

1 tbsp peanut butter

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tbsp cacao nibs

2 tsp cinnamon

¾ cup almond milk

 

Topping:

½ banana

1 tbsp cacao nibs

1 tbsp peanut butter

 

Method:

  1. Blend all together until thick and creamy. Add milk gradually to avoid it becoming too runny
  2. Top with banana, peanut butter and cacao nibs

 

Notes: if you are buying your peanut butter be careful of what’s in it and opt for a clean version. You can buy PICS peanut butter from the supermarket which is great and has a little bit of salt in it which creates a delicious flavour.
