Choc Hazelnut Hemp Bites

I have loved experimenting with the new hemple protein powder mixed with MCT oil, cacao & green coffee bean! I made these raw choc hazelnut brownies with a little extra kick of cayenne pepper. They turned out deliciously – a more bitter flavour which works well with the cacao and coffee bean. The perfect treat for your healthy foodie friends! YUM

Ingredients 

3/4 cup chopped roasted hazelnuts

1 tsp cayenne pepper

1/2 cup cacao powder

2 tbsp coconut oil

1 tbsp tahini

1/2 cup mocha hemp protein

1 cup almond meal

2 tbsp maple syrup

pinch salt

pinch vanilla

1/2 block dark choc of choice

Method

  1. Line a baking tin with baking paper
  2. Mix all ingredients but the hazelnuts in a blender till combined
  3. Stir through hazelnuts leaving a handful aside
  4. Set in freezer for 2+ hours
  5. Remove from freezer and melt your dark chocolate
  6. Drizzle with chocolate, remaining hazelnuts and a pinch more of rock salt and cayenne pepper (optional)
