Chocolate Ice Cream (That’s Good for You!)

Dive into this delicious healthy chocolate ice cream bowl in replacement of your Friday night connoisseur tub (we’ve all been there let’s not talk about it.) This bowl honestly tastes so delicious and has so many beautiful benefits to enrich your body – full of healthy fats and raw cacao which is a great superfood full of antioxidants ( so when you drizzle chocolate on top try and aim for something super dark!) Interestingly I recently listened to a podcast about how caffeine can impact the way your body absorbs iron so if you are having this as a dessert after a meal try and wait one hour before your cacao fix! Otherwise for brekkie or a snack it is also great. Top with your favourite goodies, try aim for something crunchy as the texture goes well with the thickness of the ice cream. Ingredients (serves 1)

2 tbsp cacao

1 tbsp almond butter

1 large frozen banana

pinch sea salt

1 cup chocolate almond milk ( or regular almond milk/hemp/coconut)

handful ice


1 handful chopped roasted almonds

1 handful coconut flakes

1 handful blueberries

sprinkle cacao nibs

2 squares dark choc melted

loco love chocolate (optional)



  1. Blend all bowl ingredients in a blender, slowly adding the milk so it stays nice and thick ( you might not need to use it all)
  2. Serve into a bowl. Top with all your favourite superfoods and goodies. Try using chocolate with 85%+ so you are getting great benefits of cacao!
