Raw Choc Cherry Donuts

There is something about raw treats that are so yummy and indulgent! These choc cherry donuts were inspired by Valentine’s Day coming up and were super delicious. Donut moulds are so much fun to play with in the kitchen and get creative with. I dipped my donuts in chocolate but then personalise your own with your favourite toppings like some crushed almonds or coconut flakes too! I did this recipe in collaboration with Naked Paleo so I used their bars. If you don’t have them you can use any other raw protein bar or just substitute the bars with 3/4 cup dates, 1/4 dried cherries, 1 tbsp cacao nibs, 1 tbsp hemp seeds, 1 tbsp coconut. 


Ingredients (makes 5)

2 Naked Paleo Choc Cherry Bars
1 tbsp Almond Butter
1 tbsp Coconut Oil
1/2 cup Frozen Cherries
1 tbsp cacao powder
1/2 cup LSA
1/2 block melted dark chocolate, extra cherries, rose petals (for decoration)
1. Blend all ingredients in a blender
2. Use your hands to mould into donut tins and place in freezer to set
3. Decorate with your choice of goodies, I love using melted dark chocolate , extra cherries and rose petals. You could also use cacao nibs, coconut flakes, goji berries etc
* if the mixture is too thick from blending the frozen cherries just add a dash of nut milk to thin it out slightly into the moulds
