These bliss balls I made with the intention of giving your skin a healthy glow. It isn’t just topically what can affect your skin, but so much of what you put in your body as well as your gut health that impacts your skin. I used a special detox clay from skin health emporium which helps to bind the toxins in your body and flush them out. Paired with skin rich foods such as walnuts and pumpkin seeds boost your body with omegas and healthy fats to reduce inflammation inside and out. If you don’t have the clay you can still make these with the other ingredients which will still give you a healthy glow !
1 cup walnuts
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1 tbsp flaxseeds
1 tbsp pepitas
1 tbsp sunflower seeds
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp tahini
1 scoop skin clay ( optional)
1 scoop vanilla or cacao protein ( optional)
Handful of macadamias halved
- In a blender combine all ingredients until doughy mixture is formed
- Roll into bite sized balls and squish down to place macadamia inside and then shape the mixture around the nut and roll into ball
- If desired drizzle with some chocolate or chocolate almond butter for extra decadence !
